How much freon does it take to fill a 2000 jeep cherokee if its completely empty?

I used to work at a Chrysler dealership and as I recall it holds 1.75 lbs. of freon. There should be a sticker under the hood that tells you the capacity that it holds but 1.75 lbs. is correct I believe. The place where you buy your freon should be able to look that up for you and give you the answer.

Not on jeeps I have two and there are no stickers

it is based on year 2000 to 2001 seems to be 24 ounces
