Yes but its very dangerous! And I would advise against it. If you must use something that isnt a jack or jack stand... Use something solid and stable ie: solid wood blocks or stumps... Again i advise against it. Safer and smarter to go to the store and get a set of 2 for about 15-30$

Like the others say, cinder blocks are somewhat unreliable to support a vehicle if you are going to be working under it. You really should use something better. You may be able to rent them for cheap or buy them then resell them afterwards. If you insist on using them, span a block of wood across the cinder block so the vehicle is not resting directly on a pressure point. This way the load is distributed further. You can even consider using 2 sets of these just to be safe.

Depends on the type of cinder block and how you position them. If its the money your worried about, go to a local mechanic and just ask...all he can do is say no and then go try somewhere else. Somebody will let you borrow some stands. If you live near middle tennessee, I've got a pair you can use.

Dont risk it. The Jeep may be unstable due to rust and other things. You do not mention the year either. It comes down to wether you want to put out $50 for a decent set of jackstands or your life.

I'll leave the decision to you

I also know people who have almost died from their car or JEEP callopsing on them while they were working on it.
