You can put 15" wheels on the JKs (2007 thru 2011) as long as you get wheels with enough backspacing to clear the brake equipment. I know, because I've done it. Google backspacing to figure out which rims will fit.

You can but it depends on the amount of backspacing the wheels run. The design of the inside (brake caliper area) of the wheel can cause a problem with fitment as well. In order to run 15" wheels you must do your research on the specific wheel you want in advance.

I did a quick search on jeep's web site. The rim sizes start at 16" and go to 18". It depends on how far off you want your gearing and speedo. The farther away from stock size, the more "off" you'll be.

You can offset the effect however by changing the gear ratios or buying taller tires. The rim bolt pattern also needs to be considered.

in case you want to circulate with the team and appear as if all human beings else, get some black "D" domicile windows wheels like the yank Racing AR767s. a great type of folk circulate with the Procomp gentle 8 besides Blackrock makes a steel wheel that i certainly like, it somewhat is all black with 6 oval openings around it, looks enormously stable. in addition they make some thing like it in an alloy wheel. seem around, it somewhat is quite a be counted of flavor, yet you will discover some thing which you like.

I don't think the 15" will fit because of design changes to the hub/brake assembly. In order for them to comply with mileage standards, they had to go to 16". Try to chat with a rep at tirerack.com
