I will be doing 99% hwy driving, but still want as close to a Mud Terrain look but without the road noise. The Nitto Trail Grappler looks like the perfect tire, but it doesnt come in a 33X12.50-18.

I'm running 33x10.5r15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's on my '98 TJ and they aren't any more noisy than the old BFG All Terrain K/O's that were on it before. In fact the only difference I would note between the two (aside from the obvious performance difference off road) is that at very very low speeds such as rolling right before you completely stop, you can feel the tread on the KM2's almost as if you are driving on the edge of the highway where they cut the deep grooves to make noise. Then again maybe that's just because when I put the KM2's on I also installed a 4" Pro Comp lift with shitty ES3000 shocks instead of the factory shocks.. they ride pretty rough.
Anyways I do a lot of highway driving as well since it is my daily driver, but I'm very satisfied with the low noise and smooth ride at high speed.

Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ have worked well for me. Not as much road noise as a Mud Grappler or Swamper but in between a regular all terrain and the Swamper. Also got 36k out of the last set I had which is rather good for an off road type tire. You will need to order the LT305/60R18's to get the 33X12.50-18

I don't know what is/isn't available in that size. I'd suggest tirerack.com. I can give the advice that if you are mostly hwy driving, stay away from a mud terrain. Go more for an all terrain. I put mudders on my wrangler (31x10.5/15) and hated them. Super noisy and didn't ride good. I was much happier with all terrains. Sure you sacrifice off road performance, but think about where you do most of your driving.

I've got a set of TrXuS Interco mud terrain tires in that exact size for sale if you are interested in trying. They are GREAT off road, but still a little noisy on highway. If you are interested email me at kware00@gmail.com and I'll give you more details. Thanks...
